The new LIONTRON LX Arctic is the first LiFePO4 battery that can be charged and discharged without restrictions at ambient temperatures down to -30 ° C.
This makes them the ideal choice for mobile homes, caravans and motorhomes. Especially when traveling in a cooler climate or when installing the battery in the unheated part of the vehicle, e.g. in the battery compartment.
The system consists of two energy-efficient heating elements controlled fully automatically by the BMS, which use the charging current to bring the cell temperature constantly above freezing point, thus ensuring maximum charging and discharging performance even at extreme temperatures.
Simply retrofit
The Arctic Upgrade can be retrofitted without any problems. LIONTRON batteries of the LX series that have already been purchased can also be converted.
